Behind the Madness

Hi,

I'm Samara! I am a Screenwriter and Filmmaker, attending Columbia University.

My favorite genre of film to write would be one of experimental realism. As a Black, disabled, nonbinary queer, my experiences haven't graced the big screen. With my writing, I wish to take my reader on a whimsical journey rooted in reality. My reality.

I also occasionally dabble in essay, manuscript, and op-ed writing. My research has been published in The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry.
